I just bought a 3hp Johnson Model JH19A (1964).<br />When the tank is full, gas leaks from the from of the motor. It appears to be coming from the carb. Does anyone know what the cause might be and how to fix it?
sometimes there is gunk gets built up around the gasket causeing a leak. Get yourself a carb kit and rebuild and clean. Real easy on that size. Takes about an hour. It will more than likely look something like this carb diagram small engine
