where to get an rebuilt gearcase for a 60s evinrude??

hey i need a rebuilt gear case for my 67 80 hp electric shift evinrude.might anyone know where or who to contact to find it?

Hi It would help if you listed where you live. We all have our hot spots where we all get good parts cheap! I live here in NJ and my spot for you in CA won't work. So A little more info would help all of us help you.

JESBALLS My refrance to CA was only a guess Not bad!!! I use a Marina here in NJ called Trixies landing 732-269-5838 I have never been not able to come home with a Jonnyrude part I needed yet! The only catch is I have alway had to remove it myself. I would keep this in mind if you aren't able to find one locally.I am sure if they have to do the labor and pack and ship it its going to be in the many hundreds of dollars. I am pretty sure there is a outboard junk yard near you. Someone here will post it soon.

hey stinky think it worth putting a used gearcase on it??? the powerhead runs strong .im just worried about putting a used one on it and have the same problem.and wasting cash
