Starter solenoid

My starter solenoid is finally starting to let go 1972 evinrude 125, Im going to replace it but just curious if napa or some auto store might have something that i could use in place of the oem solenoid. Or should i go and just pay the $$$ from a dealer or local shop.

Howdy, Lugnut.<br /><br />NAPA carries a lot of OMC parts. They may have the correct solenoid.<br /><br />Good luck. :)

NAPA may have the part in their marine products catalog.It is a 600 page catalog with 87 pages for E/J.

Thanks both of you usually i could grab parts off my uncle he had so much junk laying around but not anymore he has learned about the wonderful world of online auctions!! EBAY!! anything he has laying around he gets rid of!!<br /><br />Again i appreciate your help NAPA here i come lol.
