I bought a Tilt and Trim for my boat, and got a new Shifter with a Tilt and Trim switch built in. IS there a control box that is supposed to be in between? <br />George :D

pending on what you have for an engine, and what you bought for a TnT, there likely is a need for relays or solenoids.....(as in "control box") :)

Re: Tilt and Trim Control Box?

I have an 89 Force 50 that I got an original factory Tilt and Trim for. Then I got a Morce shifter to control it with. I was thinking it probably needed some relays. I don't think the switch was meant to handle that much current.

Don't know your motor, but if you can't find the OEM relay box, we can help you make one up for about $10 if you are electrically inclined... :)
