Great Motor! My Brother has a 96' and has never had a problem with it! Of course he REALLY takes care of it, as far as maintenence and such. Just what I've seen! All motors are going to have possible problems, but this one is a good bet! For many years, these were the primary Motors on rental boats. There must have been a reason for that! Good Luck,
