Does anyone have or know where to find a Schematic drawing for the assembly of the lower unit for a 1972 65hp evinrude....Please Help or e-mail me thanks in advance and happy boating to everyone. I would really like to know what is insode it before tearing it apart
Before you get carried away,, why are you considering stripping the gearcase???Alot of what ails those things, is fixable without stripping the leg..you have a hydro electric yes??? does your problem relate to no reverse or neutral? you might also search this forum, (for hydro electric for starters) there are hundreds of posts and a few diagrams about this issue here.rgdsFrank
Hiddy D.Reese,Before I did anything with that engine, I'd get me a shop manual. You can get after market manuals here on iboats or a factory manual from Ken Cook Marine Publications web site. Makes everything a lot easier, even help from the board here.g'luck & c/6Hooty
