Howdy, Frans.<br />If it is a 2hp, 3hp or 4hp your engine uses a gravity feed from the tank to the carburetor. <br /><br />If it is larger, it probably uses a fuel pump operated by pressure pulses in the crankcase. If it is older, it may use a pressurized tank.<br /><br />Do you have a problem? Tell us your model number and your problem and perhaps we can help.

Jason, thanks, it is a 60 hp , it started to struggle to plane the boat. No changes were made,I changed the fuel and got no result<br />Frans

What boat (length, approx weight)?<br /><br />Is it running on all cylinders?<br />What happens if you squirt fuel into the carbs when trying to plane?

I'm having problem with my 81 2 hp that i just did a carb rebuild and now i'm not getting fuel to the cylinder?

Start a new thread for your problem with your 2hp outboard. Nobody will look at this thread from 2002.

I have an 1981 25 hp evinrude it starts and run smooth but when i put it in gear it takes off like its gonna get up and go then it boggs down and tries to die if i run it at half throttle it will run just fine any ideas where my problem might be ?

Welcome to iboats Dan.

Start a new thread, I just happened to come across this but noone else willk know you here.

Sounds like a classic clogged main jet to me, they are in the bottom of the float bowl and any time crap gets into the carb it will clog the jet.

You don't want to run it till you get this fixxed, no fuel no lube.

Start a new thread and others will help you with this.
