need a prop for my '67, 80hp evinrude

recently I switched my oem prop to a brass one i found, because i was having trouble pulling a skier, this new one works great, but someone told me not to run a brass one on a selectric shift. So I need to find a new prop, i dont know the size or pitch. I have a 16 1/2 ft fiberglass boat it would run about 30 now only 26 mph. If anyone has any ideas e mail me. Thanx

ole<br />The aluminum props I would use would be the 10"X 9 1/4" or the 9 1/2" X 10" if you have a choice. Bomb offers the new 10 X 9 1/4 only, I believe. You should be able to find a used one at a dealer or prop shop, e-bay, etc.<br />Backfire ;)
