Ihave been offered a 1975 70 Hp evinrude at a very favorable price. However it is 15" leg and I need 20". I have a mid-leg from a 1979 55Hp that threw a rod,lying. Can I change the driveshaft and mid-leg from the 55HP with the 15" on the 70HP ?<br /><br />As far as I remember there is a small difference on the lower enginemounts - but does it matter ?
