Mod#JIORCOM Johnson 9.9 Impeller

I just inherited a 9.9 Johnson OB.Took it for a short spin and over heated. No water out the weep hole. Assume impeeler dry rotted, hasn't been in service for over 2 years. IS there a trick to drop the foot to get to the impeller?<br />Roger "HEY CULLIGAN MAN"

Greetings, Here is the way to do it.. Remove the 6 bolts holding the lower unit to the Main housing, slide down the lower unit from the upper housing, You will see a connector this is inside the housing you will see a bolt remove the top bolt from the connector, this is the shift rod connecter once it's removed the rest of the lower unit will slide down, everything else is self explanitory, if you have trouble or need help, Just e-mail me gra6961@usa.net I have the impellers also if you need them..
