What do you guys recommend for sealant? (I'm resealing a 90hp evinrude V-4 crankcase with no o-ring) Thanks...<br />

For sealing cases I've always heard good reports for using Yamabond. A yamaha product.

Use Gel Seal only. You are correct -- it has to be an anarobic sealer.<br /><br />Good luck!

It's a Loctite product. Any auto parts store has it or any marine dealer can get it for you. It's also known as Gasket Eliminator. <br /><br />Good luck!
