Ahoy, Joey.

It would be best to know when the engine was made, as Hooty asks.

As a (very) general rule, engines made before about 1970 usually used a 24:1 mix. After that, 50:1.

Because I don't remember ever seeing an Evinrude-made Sears engine I think it probably falls into the 24:1 era.

Red sky at night. . .
JB :)

Re: Gas/Oil mixture Ratio?????

Hi there Joey!
Hooty & JB are right we need numbers on the motor to get the year & who manufactured it. JB is right in that Evinrude {OMC} did not make it. My info shows that West Bend,McCulloch,Clinton & Eska were manufacturers of Sears over the years so the fuel/oil ratio will vary quite a bit.
Note: this is the best marine info forum I have ever come across. Yknot.
