Thanks to all of you who replied to me yesterday with my oil pump problem, since I am fighting with this problem for the last 5 years well I will do like some of you suggest to me >>> I will get rid of the oil pump and use a premix fuel. But with that I have a second question, can I only remove the pump and plug back the fuel line at the filter, is this pump only for oil or it is pumping fuel also -- my engine is mounted with carbs.
Thanks again

Mario

On evenrude's, the oil is in a seperate tank, and you have a primer bulb. I think that all you should do is premix the fuel, and plug the oil line, but I am more of a Merc man. JB or fone_man should have a better insight on this. You should also disable the waring buzzer for low oil level, unless you just like that type of noise when you are running. Hope this get's you started. GL
