I have an old '76 35HP Johnson (electric start) that I want to install a water temperature gauge or alarm on. It does not have any type of sensor, gauge or alarm on it now so I'm starting from scratch. I can install a gauge or horn but haven't a clue how or where to install the sensor. I see that the sensors available in catalogs are screw-in but will they work on my OB and if so, where does it screw in?

Thanks for any help.

Frustrated in Mississippi

Here are some mounting options. The easiest will be to make a Z bracket as in example.
Click me

Hey Schematic,

For once, the magic lantern (my computer) doesn't like your file! :(

What's up?

you probably need to go somewhere like: www.tucows.com and download Adobe acrobat reader..

otherwise you can't read the file.

rgds

Frank
