Ok I know this is not new to this crowd but what is involved in removing the vro from my "84" 140hp Evinrude? Thanks in advance for your help! Griff

Howdy, Gr1ffith. Most of it is the same for all: Disconnect oil lines from tank and pump. Plug oil inlet at pump. Disconnect wires from tank sensor(s). Use 50:1 premix fuel.<br /><br />Different year motors had different sensors at the pump and different wires going to the alarm system. Your Clymer Manual can give you the wiring for your '84. Then you can decide which alarms to keep and which to disconnect.<br /><br />Good luck.<br />JB
