I have inherited an old boat and motor which I am trying to rebuild and get working for this spring. First problem I don't know much about boat engines. Second I need to know where to find basic information on Johnson boat motors. I have a clymers boat repair manual but it doesn't tell me much about what is what on the engine (basic parts) and where to find them. Anyone have any good ideas or know where to find basic motor information for me to start.
