I have a 1997 Johnosn 115 hp, the tach was working intermittenly, finally quit. I checked the wiring on the back of the tach looks okay. Not sure where to look on the motor for wiring hook up. Any suggestions?<br />Thanks,<br />Michael
I have same problem i changed rectifier not the problem,tach check was fine,while changing plugs must have bumped some wire it started working again? then quit + my gas gauge? i'am convinced it's a loose wire.check small blue wires about 4 of them thay all have splice conectors in them located on top of motor in back.keep me posted as i will you. 2 heads are better than one.
