I have an older 70HP Johnson VRO. I can not locate the S/N to determine the manufactured year. Can anyone help me with the location? I've looked everywhere.
Hi Eric...<br /><br />If there is no plate on one of the transom hangers, then look on top of the block for a "soft plug". The model and SN should be on there.
Thanks. I have no owner's manual. I did not see any S/N on the transom...it's been painted. I did find on the carburators 393196 75 23KH. Does that mean anything? I'd like to get an owners manual.
