I've seen many talk about changing the shaft length on a motor, but they've all been less than 40hp. Does anybody have any info on changing shaft lengths for big motors 100hp and up?

I don't have a particular brand in mind, I just want to know what options I can keep open.

I haven't seen any place to start looking. I've done a web search, but haven't come up with anything.

To be safe i would just buy the motor you need. Dont start messing around with changing things. Be much easier and cheaper in the long run the kits are very expensive new.
