I have a 84" Evnirude 150 XP. I just had the motor rebuilt and it runs great after 4000RPM. But before that it seems like it is not getting any fuel. The motor will bog down and stall even when on plane. I have taken it back to the shop who did it and they can't find the problem. They have dyno tested it and they say it runs great and the engine doesn't bog for them. I tell them I need to squeze the primer bulb each time and sometimes 2-3 times before it will run good. This happens each time I stop. If I am running no problems. I do have a VRO pump which is only a year old they think it may be that. They think the fuel side of the pump might not be functioning properly. Does this sound right?? They suggested to go back to the standard type fuel pumps and just premix my fuel.
