I've got two cleets on either side of my boat. A 16.5' Cutter (http://www.grewmfg.com/xle171.html).<br /><br />My problem seems the fenders. Has small fenders, offerred no protection.<br /><br />Bought big fenders, stil don't offer much protection. When tied to the cleets, they hang too low below the rub rail.<br /><br />If I hang them higher, the still don't do much. <br /><br />Looked at those odd looking fenders. Won't do any good.<br /><br />Ideas?<br /><br />Joe
