I am putting another fishfinder on the bow and want to use the trolling motor mount for the transducer. This is the style that has a large hose clamp type mount with a plastic bracket on the bottom. Has anyone had experience either good or bad with these? This is an Eagle 128 unit and the trolling motor is a Minn Kota foot controlled

They work fine. Until you get tangled up in a bunch of stumps.

Work fine. I have used and good unless in very weedy conditions. The weeds interfere with the signal, as usually in shallow water, so need to keep adjusting accordingly. I actually prefer if using the front trolling motor as see real time info, not the rear fishfinder which means you already went over the fish.

Thanks for the info. My concern was if the electric motor interfered at all with the transducer signal. Apparently not from your replies. Thank you.
