I know its hard to figure electrical over the net but here I go. I have a older 1977 or so Motorguide Hawg. The speed control wont work its pretty much wide open. I check the resistor and the voltage does change while turning the wheel. So why will it not slow the motor down? I have a three way switch that this all seems to tie into. I guess the middle position is off the lower position works but the up position does not. Any Ideas?? Thanks
