Anyone With MG PTSv TM Experiences???

I am wondering if anyone has any experience with the self guiding/ steering Motor Guide PTVs series of trolling motors. I have a new tin boat and am considering the benefits of upgrading to something along this line. Any help is appreciated.<br /><br />Tight Lines, Bill

One SEVERE warning about ANY automatic steering and or speed control of a boat. You get into a HOT fishing spot with underwater dangers. You WILL ram them as you are watching the fish, not were the boat is going! I know first hand several times. I do not go out on auto pilot boats anymore. " are you O K ? " sucks for no good reason. Especially with kids and or seniors. NO BODY is expecting a sudden boat stop when a fish is on a rod.
