I have a '95 Voyager SC Pontoon boat. Can anyonetell me what the deck is made of? I am goingto install mounting hardware for a ladder thisweekend and was wondering what type of screw touse. Also does anyone know if Voyager has a web site?

I have a 98 Voyager and the deck is made of marine plywood. I havent measure it but I would guess 5/8 or 3/4. Here is their Website: http://www.voyagerboats.net/

if you can get to the bottom side, it's far better to thru-bolt the ladder using large bolts and fender washers rather than just screwing it down--it'll be under a lot of force when someone's weight is on it and the bolts will not pull out of the wood
