Mercury Motorguide Mod 730 wiring diagram

I have a Mercury Motorguide Mod. 730, 12V, 30 lbs thrust, year 1991.

From the motor to the foot pedal are running 4 wires: black, red, blue and yellow, how are they connected?

From the pedal to the battery are running 3 wires: red, black and orange. How do they connect?

There is also a switch on the foot pedal, what is it for?

I konw the best would be to have a user guid and electrical diagram, but I don't know were to get it here down in Mexico.

Any answers are well apreciates, have a very nice christmas.
