I have a 1961 31 foot marriente trawler and she is so light it is like riding a cork, terrible control getting into slip is there any way to add weight to the boat so she is not controlled by the current and wind like the cork she feels like. I love the boat but being so light has caused major problems. This boat is in A1 condition and I hate to giver her up but if I can not add weight I am afraid I am going to have to give in and give her up. Any help would be greatly appreciatedrbryant
You could add ballast tanks.Pump water into them to add weight to the boat when you are docking and performing slow maneuvers.Pump the water back out when not needed.
