So I thought I was being really smart grabbing this free gas can to use for a generator. I stopped by fleet farm and grabbed a johnson omc fitting and it is not even close. I searched online and couldn't find anything. Does anyone know where I can buy the fitting that will allow me to hook a fuel hose to this tank? Thanks.

Looks like a single line omc tank fitting to me. I have the same can (???).

The OMC fitting should fit on there normal (top two pins).

yep.....any omc fitting will fit that tank. ( the two small spring loaded pins are the vent)

edit: should have mentioned.....do not buy an aftermarket fitting....spend the extra few bucks and get a genuine part, or you will just end up getting one anyway.

Thanks guy, got one. I never would have guessed that tiny little fitting on the shelf fits into that complicated looking fitting on the tank.
