secondary fuse

Hello im new owner of Bayliner Capri 1954 - 1995 is the year . it has a 3.0 mercruiser. I found a empty
fuse holder just above the battery on the back wall of the boat right at it says secondary fuse. Whats
it for ? Thanks

Is there anything you are aware of that's NOT working?

If you trace each end of the wire, where do they lead?

if theres no wire connected ,most likely a spare fuse
