Will a 70hp 3-cylinder merc powerhead work on a '74 65hp 3-cylinder??

ANybody have an idea? Faztbullet? Laddies?
If the PH will fit, will the 65 carbs and everything else work on it?

A completely dressed 70 powerhead may, but you'll likely run into issues with mounting the 65s periphery stuff on the 70 due to differences in castings. The biggest issue would be the 70 block lacks the support for the distributor tower.
