Nissan 3.5A water pump replacement

is replacing the impeller as easy as removing the prop and replacing the impeller over the shaft
I have just bought the used motor and water stream is very low
anyone have a step by step so I don't miss anything
already purchased the impeller

Yep. 2 bolts for the pump cover and you're in there.

No gasket. You can use lock-tite or grease on the bolt threads if desired to reduce galvanic corrosion. No lubricant for the impeller -- it's water-lubricated.

Those small 2,5 & 3.5 are prone to deliver poor peeing specially at idle, if so, remove engine lateral cowling, disconnect rubber hose from crankcase and run a medium wire, needle, plastic tie wrap, W40, Carb Clean spray red cannula back and forth small water outing several times to clear the slight salt, debris clog that might have formed. Will pee much better.

Thanks to all for replying
All suggestions were acted on
I replaced the impeller this weekend on board the boat
Really was a snap, I was not sure it could be that simple
I did run the wire through the water tube ans sprayed compressed air both ways with the impeller out
It flows great, I don't think it'e possible to get it any better

You have a different motor, so you should start a new thread.
You did not mention model.
But.
You drop the LU (and disconnect the shifter), and install: WATER PUMP KIT : 4HP ~ 6HP
