help figuring year/model ??

hey guys i recently picked up a johnson 90 hp from a really cool fellow iboater. im not sure of the year and model as you cant read the #'s on the tag. i have a buddy from on here is sure its a 1990 or 91 just want to double check .... heres some pics ...

Look on the top of the block for a core plug about the size of a quarter. There should be some numbers on it.

i did see that core plug with numbers ..... what will those numbers be though ?? serial ?? model ?? should i post the #'s here ?

so i went out and looked at the plug boobie told me about and this is the # i found

Call BRP customer service with that # and they should be able to tell you what it is. 1-262-884-5993.

called BRP and found out its a 1991 ..... model ....J90GLAI

when i get on BRP's website to look for parts .... my model # is not listed ..... what gives??
