what year did mercury switch drive shafts and get rid of the pre load pin on the v-6? will a preload pinned drive shaft work in a 1988 225 efi? can the pin be removed?
Last year I can remember was '86. Think some "parts" list may show some in '87. If your motor is a 2.4 220 "Laser" efi, then yes it will as long as its tha same length............
