I'm looking to get some carb kits for a set of '90 115 hp carbs.

My question is about the contents of these kits.

They don't seem to have the correct amount of gaskets. They should have two of the carb mounting gaskets (item 14), one for the intake side and one for the inlet/cover side but they only come with one.

Also, why do they come with two mixing chamber gaskets (item 13). The carbs only require one.

Re: Carb kit gaskets

A lot of carb kits will fit more than just one motor and this is probably why you have two mixing chamber gaskets for the carb. If you lay them together and take a close look at them you might find that there is a small difference in them. The is only one of the other carb to intake gaskets as the use of a gasket between the carb and air box is not really needed as there is no dirt on the water with the motor running. JMO
