Anyone heard of fixing slipping bendix with dry lube?

I have a spare bendix gear I'd like to fix and keep on board as a backup if possible. I saw on Youtube where you can fix a slipping bendix gear by adding dry lube?

I accidentally got some degreaser near the bendix and it imediately started slipping. Its less than 1 season old so I'd like to fix it if possible.

Anyone aware of this?

Thanks for your help. I'll give this a try. I wish I had known earlier that you could fix a slipping Bendix. I had the same issue a few years back and bought a new one not knowing any better.
