Trim dash indicator

Does anybody have an idea why when I start my boat the trim gauge on the dash goes all the way to the right indicating full up ??Alpa one

So is the gauge correct with the key in the on position? And is it only pegged during starter operation?

As soon as you turn the key it's up and stays up while running.Got an idea?

Probably the sender or wiring.

sender on the out drive? which side or do both send a signal?
