water in oil Question ?

hi guys thx for reading , only one Question can water in cylinders from bad manifolds get into the oil ( down cylinder wall past the rings and into oil ) engine is a brand new remanufactured v6. thx for any input you may have

Yes, it won't be very fast with a new engine, but it can. If this is happening there should be other symptoms

Need to know how much water in the oil. How far did it rise on the dip stick? I would hope that if it's a new engine, it wouldn't be a cracked block. Considering that, would lead to exhaust - shutter valve and abrupt stops.....

thx yes about 1/4 inch on stick, maybe i should mention the manifolds are from the old block ( 7yrs old ) that was severely overheated , they looked ok minimal corrosion so did not replace just installed on new block thx
