What do these prop numbers mean?

Can someone decipher this for me please? The only thing I can find says MICHIGAN P J 8 1

I think someone here may have that info but you can contact Michigan Wheel with the numbers.
They identified a bronze McCulloch prop from the 60s told me the year,size,what it fit and what it cost in the 60s.

Yep, call or email Michigan. Early props used codes like AJC 42 or PJ81. They still have their database and can quickly identify the prop for you as to material, diameter, pitch, and number of blades as well as what engine it was used on.
