470 miss/stumbles after motor get warm

Just as the title says this is twice in last 2 outings, after about 1 hour of running the boat it starts to miss and stumble around 2800-3200 rpm we will stop swim/float for 45 min- hour and it does not do it for about 15 mins.

I think it is the coil getting hot causing the boat to run poor I replaced it at the begeining of the year but it could be junk

It could be that your fuel tank vent is plugged and restricting fuel after running for a while, check it (mud wasps love to build nests in little holes).

I just put gas in it yesterday and could feel a good amount of air coming out the vent next to gas cap.. I was thinking getting a better coil or mounting the coil away fom the motor.

take your meter out with you and test it when it acts up..... I would (and do) bring a spare as well.

Test the primary and secondary windings of the coil.

Going to take it out one day this week after I get a spare coil,
