DT 15c battery charging system.

Ok this might be a stupid question but here it goes. Can a Suzuki dt 15c motor with no electric starter or starter relay basically a pull start motor be wired to charge a battery. I don't need it to start the motor just to charge a battery for a fish finder or bilge pump, and if the answer is no what do I need to buy to do the job ( not a new motor) lol.

Yes you can, under the flywheel there are 2 coils, lighting and ignition .... there will be 2 empty leads from the receptical lighting cable coming to your tray of the motor (next to the kill switch) How you hook it up from there I don't know ....
