Titlt down only works on throttle?

I have a 02 Mercury 125 on a Nitro NX882. The tilt UP for the engine works at all three places on the boat (Front, Throttle, and Motor). The Tilt down only works on the throttle as of today (Previously it only failed at the front of the boat). Anyone have any idea where to start looking on this one? I wasn't concerned until it failed at the motor today.

Obviously, wiring connections.(as in clean and tight)
