2 questions: I have a 15? Sea Nymph (80? beam) and old trailer (17? 8?) that weighs 1050lbs without the motor. The Rear corners rusted and were repaired ? this was an in-line frame butt weld and edge weld with the rear cross beam on both corners. I don?t believe the butt weld will hold so am looking at replacing the trailer. First question ? do you agree to replace the trailer? Second I am looking for a new but low-cost trailer, preferably galvanized. I assumed a 1200 lbs rating. What manufacture would you recommend and what length? Trying to keep costs low. Thanks for your help.

Post up some pics so we can see how the weld looks and where it's at. Could be ok, may have a fabricator look at it, could also just need a fish plate welded over the butt joint to help distribute the stresses.
