Dual steering cable for kicker?

I'm just wondering,
Did any of you good people ever use a dual steering cable with one cable going to the I/O and the other to the kicker?
If so, what were the pros and cons?
Currently I use the E Z steer system and it is less than perfect.

I have been thinking of doing that very thing... you would HAVE to have it setup with equal throw on both engines... If the kicker hit the steering stops before the I/O then your maneuverability would be affected

Someone makes a kit for this very purpose. It's basically a tie rod with a Hans joint on each end. I can't recall the manufacturer right now.

Forgot to add it connects between the main and kicker motor to provide helm steering for both.

if you read his opening post again... he already has that.... he wants to do away with it for a cleaner more hassle free solution
