Hi all I have put the carby back onto my 1968 Lark 40 motor after cleaning it out and replacing the needle and seat, clean jets, new fibre washer on emulsion tube and I now have no fuel getting to the bowl.
My only thought is that I,ve installed the float upside down is there anything else I could have done to cause this?
I will pull the carb off tomorrow to see what i've done wrong but any suggestions are appreciated.

Needle must be stuck. Did you get a kit and rebuild the carb? There should be a little wire clip which goes on the end of the needle and then attaches to the float arm. It pulls the needle out of the opening when the float drops.

Before re-installing the carb, I ALWAYS check to make sure the float/needle assembly is working properly by blowing into the fuel inlet. With the carb upright, air should pass. With the carb upside down, no air should pass.
