Have you checked the fuel pressure on the VST above idle? Have you ran it on the water with the laptop hooked up and looked at the high pressure fuel pump?

Bet your fuel pressure from the high pressure pump is dropping into the red when you throttle up. Have you gotten any water in the fuel lately?

fuel pressure stays 34lbs to 33lbs when above idle speed.no water in fuel, just want power up, everything checks good first time i've been stumped but sure it will happen again.

Thats the supply before the high pressure pump and around 35 psi is ok. The high pressure for the direct injection is only displayed on the laptop software and should be 750 to 1000 psi depending on model

Ok thats fine also. I assume that all the basics have been done like a compression / leakdown test. What does the spark plug burn look like are all six the same?

That fuel pressure sounds too high. I've not seen one that high before. Usually runs in the high 700 to low 800's.
