1977 Bayliner Bodaga. Twin ChrisCraft Model 454 engines. Port engine turns CCW looking at flywheel. Stbd engine turns CW looking at flywheel. Distributor rotors turn CW looking at rotor, both engines. Both distributors Mallory # YL585CV2.
With the part numbers of the distributors the same and the rotor rotation the same, I'm assuming the distributor gears are the same cut. Is it possible the camshaft distributor drive gears are cut opposite to allow the rotors and therefore oil pumps to both turn CW?
