Hi everyone,
I purchased an older Starcraft with a mercury 500, 50 hp electric start outboard. The previous owner removed the inner wiring harness and said it needed a new one, which it did as the old one was pretty frayed and beat up. Based on the old harness I went to CDI and purchased part #414-3369.
They included a schematic but this is my first time working on an outboard. I'm mechanically sound, I just don't know what everything is under the cover yet.
My question is can anyone provide me a photo that outlines where all the connections would go? Or any help for that matter...
The serial number on my motor is 457-7800.
