Help with 9.5 Johnson seahorse

Hi I'm new here and to boating. I got a motor from a guy he says its a Johnson seahorse. It has the 9.5hp decals. When I search the model number I can't find anything. Can someone help me id the year and whether its a 2 or 4 stroke. I haven't been able to get ahold of the guy I bought it from.

I think yours is most likely MQ14E if so that puts it at a 1968 all model years 9.5 are 2 stroke mixed 50-1

Great Thank you. Yes the plate is very scratched so I took my best guess.
