I have the above motor, all rebuilt with great compression all round. Motor works great 1/2 throttle and up but idle to half throttle very rough. When cold its very hard to start, did the 10 count and no difference, enricher valve seems to be working because I hear the click. Motor seems to idle rough and occasionally stall, if I put it in gear and move the throttle to 1/8 or 1/4 and drive away it will stall within approx. 5-10 sec. Timing has been set to the book and I believe it to be correct. Spark plugs are always wet (soaked) with fuel. Fuel pump rebuilt and I actually think it made it a bit worse. Spark looks good on all cylinders and carbs have be cleaned and look great also. Floats, needle and seat all good and set by the book, what am I missing.? Could a leaking enricher valve be causing these problems.? That's the only thing I haven't check as of yet. Any other ideas, not sure what else to check....
