Help me identify this scott

Purchased as a wizard with decals but no id tag. Flywheel says r e phelon. numbers on block 170 2284. any idea what year? I'm pretty sure it is a 3.6. has the recoil starter. any help appreciated.

Hoo boy, not enough information. That 3.6 was made for so many years. Can you tell what the original color was?

EDIT: Actually, Scott McCulloch only made the Wizard brand 1959-1964. If it really is a Wizard 3.6, that will narrow it down.

It is white with a blue-green recoil. Wizard decals. was just hoping to narrow down the year.
